Crunchyroll Adds Senki Zesshō Symphogear XV, STARMYU 3 Anime

Company also reveals streaming details for to the abandoned Sacred Beasts anime stream

Crunchyroll announced on Friday that it will stream the Senki Zesshō Symphogear XV and Symphogear AXZ television anime series worldwide outside of Asia.

Senki Zesshō Symphogear XV will premiere on Tokyo MX and BS11 on July 6 late at night (effectively July 7 at 1:00 a.m.). The series will also air on MBS, TV Aichi, and AT-X. The main cast and staff of Senki Zesshō Symphogear AXZ are returning for the fifth season. Nana Mizuki will perform the opening theme song "Metanoia," and Ayahi Takagaki will perform the ending song "Lasting Song."

Senki Zesshō Symphogear AXZ, the fourth season, ran from July to September 2017. Katsumi Ono, director of the second and third Symphogear anime, returned to direct the fourth series again at Satelight. Elements Garden handled the music once more, and Akifumi Kaneko and Noriyasu Agematsu are credited as the original creators.

Crunchyroll also announced it will stream the third season of the STARMYU anime starting on July 1 at 11:30 a.m. EDT. The show will be available worldwide except in Russia, CIS, Asia, and the Middle East.

The third season of the anime will premiere on Tokyo MX on July 1 at 10:00 p.m. before airing later that evening on BS11, KBS Kyoto, and Sun TV.

The show's returning staff include director Shunsuke Tada, animation studio C-Station, series scriptwriter Sayaka Harada, character designer Asami Watanabe, and composer Ken Arai. The anime will feature the first appearance of the new Kao Kai (Cherry Blossom Flower Association).

Crunchyroll also revealed the details of its previously announced stream of the to the abandoned Sacred Beasts anime. The site will stream the series starting on July 1 at 11:00 a.m. EDT. The anime will be available in North America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Europe (excluding Turkey!, including Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan), and Central and South America including the Caribbean.
