Four Pokémon DVD releases, plus first Blu-ray volume of Eromanga Sensei

On Monday September 2, Manga Entertainment will release several Pokemon feature films on four individual DVDs. One DVD will contain Pokémon the Movie: White - Victini and Zekrom and Pokémon the Movie: Black - Victini and Reshiram. The two films were released together on the same day in July 2011.

In the two films, Satoshi (Ash in English) and Pikachu take part in a battle held during the harvest festival in Aintoōku, and they encounter the mysterious Pokémon Victini. The two films also feature two different legendary Pokémon — the black hero Zekrom appears before people who seek the pure "ideal," while the white hero Reshiram appears before people who seek the pure "truth." Not incidentally, these two are pivotal Pokémon in the game Pokémon Black and White.

Manga is also releasing Pokémon the Movie: Kyurem VS. The Sword of Justice. In the film, Ash and Pikachu, along with their friends Iris and Cilan, are on a train to the next stop of their trip. Suddenly, Ash sees a wounded Pokémon he has never seen before. The Pokémon they just met turns out to be the mythical Keldeo, who is on a mission where he must rescue his friends from the frozen claws of Kyurem.

Manga is also releasing Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened. In the film, Mewtwo hears a strange call – someone wants to go home. Upon investigating, he discovers bug-like pokemon he has never seen before - the extinct pokemon genesect, which humans have revived 300 million years are their extinction. Then the rest of the genesects show up and try to take over the Pokemon Hills pokemon resort.

Manga is also releasing Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction. The Mythical Pokémon Diancie rules the underground Diamond Domain. The Heart Diamond that sustains the land is beginning to fall apart, and Diancie is not yet strong enough to create a new one. While seeking help from the Legendary Pokémon Xerneas, Diancie encounters a group of thieves who want to take control of its diamond-producing power—and who awaken the Legendary Pokémon Yveltal from its cocoon. Ash and his friends must help Diancie discover its true power, stop Yveltal's rampage, and save the Diamond Domain.

MVM will release the first volume of the series Eromanga Sensei on Blu-ray, carrying the first six episodes. The "new sibling romantic comedy" revolves around Masamune Izumi, a light novel author in high school. Masamune's little sister is Sagiri, a shut-in girl who hasn't left her room for an entire year. Masamune's novel illustrator, penname "Eromanga Sensei," draws extremely perverted drawings, and is very reliable. Masamune had never met his illustrator, and figured he was just a disgusting, perverted otaku. However, the truth is revealed that his "Eromanga Sensei" is his own younger sister.
