A TV anime adaptation has been officially announced for Romelia War Chronicle: Even After Defeating the Demon King, Humanity Still Seems Doomed, So I Formed a Military Force—the hit fantasy series that originated on Japan's web fiction platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō.
Set in the aftermath of the Demon King's defeat, Romelia War Chronicle follows Romelia, a noblewoman whose engagement to the prince is suddenly annulled. Determined to rebuild a shattered world, she leads a fledgling army in this postwar tale of courage and renewal. The original novel and manga adaptation have together surpassed 500,000 copies in circulation.
A new teaser visual has been revealed—depicting Romelia, Al and Ray overlooking the majestic valley.
Alongside the teaser visual, the anime's official website, official X (formerly Twitter), and YouTube channel have launched today.
To mark the anime adaptation announcement, comments from the creators have also been released.
