Artist Comments
Yuu. (Singer for OP Theme Song “Kirei.”)
I'm Yuu., nice to meet you! It's an honor to perform the opening theme song. I'm very happy to be singing my very first anime theme song at 20 years old! I sang while imagining the beautiful sea of Atami and cherishing the human connections and feelings of warmth that are evident throughout this story. I hope you enjoy this anime while appreciating the heartwarming scenes and feelings it evokes.
Jin (Writer and Composer for OP Theme Song “Kirei.”)
Things that are clean, transparent, and tidy. Things that change shape over time. Things that are layered with stains and scratches that give them character. “Kirei” comes to mind. Such a word that is soaked in human emotion is the theme of this song.
Natsumi Kiyoura (Singer and Lyrics for ED Theme Song “Wakaba no Koro”)
My first impression of the original manga left me pondering Ms. Kinme's dedication to her work and her kindness, as well as the dappling sunlight through the trees and seasons we see during our everyday life. “Wakaba no Koro” captures the feelings of early summer, fleeting moments of youth, and singular pages in the story of life. You can trust the ending theme song for this anime in my hands.
Katsutoshi Kitagawa (Producer for ED Theme Song “Wakaba no Koro”)
Having lived in Hakodate until high school, imagining life in a coastal town brought back memories. Like biking to the shore and spending the afternoon with a paperback book. I thought I'd like to make a song that is filled with the essence of the original work and my memories like the smell of a seaside town. I hope you can feel the softness of the acoustic guitar and string instruments and the warmth of the woodwinds.
