Hopefully it comes near me with the dub!
Trigun was my gateway anime, and still in my top 5 to this day!

Excellent. This is also one show I'd be more or less equally happy to watch subtitled or dubbed and even if I don't get a chance to see it in theatres, at least this is a sign that the release is coming along.

I hope they screen in a more local NY theater this time. Going into the city to see a movie is tough. Especially on your own.

I know for sure Wolfwood is different. Jeff Nimoy said it wasn't worth it and he would lose money because of flying out there. I also heard Milly's voice actress, Lia Sargent quit voice acting, not sure if that's true or not though. I would bet Bosch will be back as Vash, he also said once he would like to re-do the series because he knows he can do it better now, so we'll see how he does in this hopefully.

The cast list has been announced, and only Johnny Yong Bosch will be returning out of the original cast.

Anyone in the KC MO area will be happy to know that a Screenland Theater at the Crossroads has already announced they will bee having a screening of it. I can not wait, if their screening of the Eva movies is any indication, they will most likely show it subbed.

Hate to break it to everyone, but it looks like FUNi is not getting all of the original cast.
Quote: | Johnny Yong Bosch as Vash the Stampede
Brad Hawkins as Nicholas D. Wolfwood
Luci Christian as Meryl Stryfe
Trina Nishimura as Milly Thompson |
This was on ANN's Trigun's movie page. Looks like Hawkins, Cristian, and Nishimura are replacing Jeff Nimoy, Dorothy Melendrez, and Lia Sargent respectively. I'm crossing my fingers that this isn't true >.<

Well, the local theater here got Summer Wars and Eva 2.22 so I think we have a decent chance of getting this, fingers crossed!

Here's hoping they release it in Missouri, though that might not be likely. At least the DVD should be released.

Well...where I live in Kentucky, I won't get to see it on the bigscreen...which sucks because there's a LOT more anime fans here than anyone thinks...but we never get any anime movie releases...unless we wanna drive 5+ hours...ugh...oh well...DVD release I guess...*sigh*
