Wow, Ghibli vs. Ghibli (and some other stuff that hasn't a prayer)!
Hoping for Takahata to pull off an upset. I saw both, and really do think his was the better film.

I dunno. Madoka, as a franchise, has garnered many awards, and Harlock is super popular in Japan.

Was able to see Kaguya, the Wind Rises, and Conan vs Lupin in theaters. Out of those, Kaguya definitely should be the winner; but with the Wind Rises being Miyazaki, Takahata probably will be shafted of an award.
