*sighs deeply*
So long as they don't outright cancel the release, I'll be fine. Although, now I understand the frustrations of an Index/Railgun fan.

I'm curious what the reason is considering that this was scheduled to come out pretty soon. Of course, there are so many things it could be that there isn't much point in speculating.

This is worse news than Donald Trump's latest poll numbers.

The dub is already completed and available for viewing online. So at least we can rule out the possibility of this being another Eva 3.0 type of situation.

Fantastic...I was hoping to get this signed by a few of the VAs at Youma Con...hopefully it's not pushed back too far. :/
It'd be great if they offered people who have already preordered some kind of compensation...but I doubt it

Disappointing was really looking forward to finally owning the sweet LE, the dub and watching it Guess it free's up the $90 that I had reserved for it for other titles and hopefully the delay isn't too long.
Slightly off topic but I believe I remember hearing funimation was trying to work with eastern star to try and get season 1 with a dub has anything come out of it yet?

I'm glad I didn't pre-order this. Hopefully it'll be out by Christmas!

Ah crap! I pre-ordered the LE on Amazon. Hopefully they won't take too long to release it.

I know in the past they had do delay a release becuase the disc pritner broke down or something so that mihgt be the case here again.
But no need to worry about the realese getting canceled, Funi has put too much advertising into Free! to can it at this point.

Anyone want to make a guess it got delayed due to the dub? You know, what led to Eva 3.33 getting delayed?

I was so looking forward to getting this in my hands this month aaghh but I guess it can't be helped. I'll just have to be patient once again & it's not like I pre-ordered it or anything.
I am curious as to the cause in the delay though, since FUNi repeatedly explained how adamant they were on getting this dub out ASAP. regardless, I guess I'll just have to stick with the TV version of the dub stream for now.
(but if it DID get delayed because people are being unreasonably rude about the dub, I'll be very upset. I really doubt that's the case though.)

From the little I've personally heard of the dub, and the lot I've heard from others who have seen much more of it, I wouldn't mind waiting for them to release it if they were actually fixing the dub. But there's only so much they could do since I'm 99.9997% sure there's no way they'd change the cast.
It doesn't matter too much to me though since the sub is fantastic, so I'll probably cringe my way through one dubbed episode and then return to the sub.
On the optimistic side, maybe there's just a delay from the suppliers for the LE goodies? Like the towels or postcards are late, haha.

I've only seen three episodes of the dub and my only complaint isn't the actors; its the script. All I can say is that Funi took a load of liberties as usual. Way more cursing than I thought like a PG-13 rated fanfic...

Blame J. Michael Tatum for that one. He's had this tendency since The Future Diary to be really, really loose with his scripts (to the point of outright changing the story). Attack on Titan also suffered from this, and in the second half of the series FUNi brought in Tyson Rinehart to tighten them up. Assassination Classroom also came really close to breaking outright from the original script in many instances.

Date A Live II and Danganronpa got the silent delay. DBZ: FnF got a release date before them.
