Heh, but yes, Death Note, Bleach and Fullmoon wo Sagashite are essentially just rip-offs of each other. ;P
People say Busou Renkin is like FMA because of the alchemy thing, and they say it's like Bleach because of the "boy meets weird girl and gets killed but not" thing, as far as I have been informed. Because, you know, this has never been done before Bleach. Except for in Tokyo Underground or Yu Yu Hakusho, maybe. You can compare all of these manga. I think it's fair, and it's fun. But it's pretty stupid to limit such a comparison to only two titles, and use the whole affair as argumentation to prove one of the series sucks. When you compare works within a genre, you'll always find similar themes or elements... |

Hello!? it had to been popular non the less 3 million volumes sold in japan..ehh..i'll go with that..even if the only source for saying that is Viz.
