As much as I like seeing Rozen Maiden getting rescued, I can't help but fear that Sentai will butcher this piece of work to death.

How?

Considering they have rights to the original dub and subtitle translations for it, Sentai should just have to worry about getting everything onto disc format.

Ironically, Rozen Maiden and Traumend are still in print in the UK (via MVM). I wonder if it was popular enough for them to add Overture once it is dubbed.

I'm not intersted in the series itself, but it's great to see another series that's impossible to buy without sacrificing your first-born being picked up by someone.

It's definitely a good thing when another series gets rescued from out of print status. I'd be happy to pick up an OVA to go along with my felt box and original discs from Geneon. I seem to recall the stress about getting certain volumes before Geneon went belly up. Good work Sentai!!

I think I'll buy this, desu. Rozen Maiden was never my favorite, but it had it's moments, desu. And I have two different 'subs of it, but both kinda suck, so it will be nice to have a definite version, desu.

//Did someone say 'heterochromia'?

THANK YOU SENTAI!! I have to give it to Sentai Filmworks this is their year and they won over Funimation for many big anime titles and announcements.

Angel Beats, Kobato, MM!, Needless, HSOTD and Night Raid 1931

the OVA's finally. Thank you sentai.

I have a feeling we'll be seeing Zero no Tsukaima soon. As Sentai seems to be picking up a lot of JCStaff stuff recently.

You know, that's why I love Sentai so much. They announce something, and release it a couple of months later.

I wish Funimation would take notes on that....

Heck yeah! Very Happy Thank you Sentai! <3 I bought Geneon's release of Rozen Maiden and Traumend when it came out in singles (i even have the pretty velvet box they made <3) and it always made me kinda sad to think I wouldn't ever get the OAV.

Gee, nice to see you've branched out from your "no dub, no sale" whining, Poindexter. Rolling Eyes
