What the crap? Why is it showing on 67 screens in Canada and almost none in America? Heck, it'd be closer for me to drive to Canada to see it than anywhere in the states, although honestly I probably won't anyway since I've already seen it on a fairly big screen during a special screening in DC.... But if they'd be sensible and actual send it to more states theatres I'd actually go see it!

Thanks but no thanks.
I'll wait for the 1.11 version.
No chance I'm getting mugged if they plan to do the same releases as Japan.

The weird thing is, Eva never aired on Canadian television.

I had little interest in seeing this, then I saw the dub's trailer...
Now I'm actually pretty disappointed there isn't a screening somewhere in Sacrameto. I'd take the drive to L.A. but five hours stuck in a car doesn't sound all that appealing.
Hopefully the list will expand and include the good ol' State Capitol. If not, well, that's where I'm glad I have surround sound, a HD TV and a DVD player.

The Brattle in Boston / Caimbridge is a bit small, but I'll gladly take it... if I can get in..

Only one screen date in Houston? I hope it won't be too hard to get tickets.

Hey, there are anime fans here in SE VA too! We even have our own con.
Throw us a bone, will ya?
It is nice to see some Canada love, though. Congrats.

Well, this is a screening, so maybe it will be available in more theators over the fall or winter. I would consider seeing this. I have the series on DVD, and it is one of the best "Giant Robot" shows I've seen.

As expected, the entire South East of the US has to sit this one out.
