Kaworu was using him... sounds like every male in a relationship.

Still, I wonder if it will be different from the TV series as Shinji acts different here. In the manga Shinji hated Kaworu who kept doing some things that you see only in fanfictions.

A lot of people seem to ignore that a big plot point of Rebuild is that Gendou is manipulating the scenes so that Shinji and Rei end up together.

How do you think Shinji will react to that information when he finds out that what he thought was love was all a clever play by his hated Father. I'm sure Kaworu will be the one to shed the light on that little secret.

Asuka is part Angel now. She needs her own spinoff movie and series.

I really want to see this movie but this teaser was pretty lackluster. We get...

- Asuka screaming inside a plug suit
- Mari smirking
- Kaworu playing the piano
- Shinji being melancholy
- Rei standing around somber

And everything but Mari looked like it coulda been a scene from the TV series. The end of the movie teaser from 2.0 had more insight into the next film than this one, and insight is kinda the only thing I was looking for.
