Seriously? High School DxD is Fast Times at Ridgemont High with Demons Times Animal House with Angels and they're going to go significantly younger with that theme?!

They really need to rethink this.

Junior High DxD has a lot of potential, especially if the High School DxD characters are going to show up in the mix.

I just wanted more DxD anime. How hard is it to get that? Even Strike The Blood reached the end via home release. In fact, they would have more freedom with producing direct home releases. It's a win/win/win situation.

Wasn't there some kind of issue with the anime and the original author not being happy with the later seasons?

You're referring to the 3rd season. Because of how TNK handled it Ishibumi wasn't happy and season 4 went to Passione. Despite the art quality being less favored than TNK's it was still received better than season 3. Unfortunately no new season was ever announced after that

It was so weird.

The plot in the anim changed what happened in the LNs

Author was mad asked for a new studio.

But., this is the weirdest part, instead of just ignore what happened the author wrote some content that makes what happens in the anime canon, but at the same time overwrites it so it gets taken off the timeline.
