I'm happy that they're doing it at all, but can they really adapt 100 dialogue-heavy chapters in two films? I would have expected a 24-episode series.

I'm not very familiar with this manga, but Reiko Yoshida does have experience in condensing longer manga into shorter anime (A Silent Voice for example) so I would take that as a good sign.

I don't see how without tons of cuts. I had little faith in the adaption and it being 2 movies is really making me feel right about thinking that.
