Panorama Island Manga Coming in English 'in a Few Months'

Manga translator Ryan Sands (Tokyo Zombie) revealed on Wednesday that the English edition of Suehiro Maruo's award-winning manga The Strange Tale of Panorama Island has "been sent to the printer in China and finally coming out in a few months." Sands revealed in 2009 that Last Gasp Publishing had licensed the manga.
The book adapts a novella from Edogawa Rampo, a pioneer in Japanese detective and suspense fiction. Panorama Island's story centers around an unsuccessful science fiction author who masquerades as the dead son of an industrial magnate. With his new family's riches, he creates a fantastical island to satisfy his desires.
