posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Media distribution company Crunchyroll announced at its Anime Expo panel on Saturday that it will digitally release the GTO: Paradise Lost manga by Tohru Fujisawa in late August. Crunchyroll also added Takao Saitō's manga adaptation of Sakyō Komatsu's Japan Sinks (Nihon Chinbotsu) novel.
The GTO spinoff launched in Kodansha's Young Magazine on April 14. Crunchyroll will offer the manga's prior chapters and also simultaneously release the latest chapters as they come out in Japan.
The full manga will be available worldwide, excluding Japan.
Crunchyroll describes Japan Sinks:
A swarm of earthquakes hit the Japanese archipelago causing the sudden eruption of a dormant volcano. Soon after the people find themselves facing a wave of mysterious natural disasters... and ultimately discover an unbelievable consequence. Based on Sakyō Komatsu's best-selling science fiction novel, Takao Saitō presents the story in his own powerful and distinct style.
The full manga is available worldwide, excluding Japan. The now-defunct manga service JManga previously published the series online. Crunchyroll also announced Saito's Barom One, Doll The Hotel Detective, and The Shadowman manga last week.
