Persona 3 Manga's End in Next Volume Teased
posted on by Sarah Nelkin
The author's notes in the eighth compiled volume of Shuji Sogabe's Persona 3 manga has a message reading, "The series will complete in the next volume... Probably."
The story of the manga revolves around the protagonist Minato Arisato, who transfers to Gekkōkan High School. However, as he heads to his new dormitory, listening to the music on his headphones, he is stopped. More precisely, time has stopped, and the people who were around him turn into coffins. Minato learns that this period of time hidden between the minute of midnight is called the Dark Hour, a time when monsters called Shadows appear.
Sogabe began drawing the art for the manga adapting Atlus' PlayStation 2 game of the same name in February 2007 in Kadokawa's Dengeki Maō magazine, and it has been serialized irregularly. The eighth compiled volume shipped in Japan on Friday.
The third film adapting the game, Persona 3 the Movie #3 Falling Down, will premiere in Japan next Saturday.
