Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' to premiere subtitled in Japan

Japanese entertainment company T-Joy announced on Tuesday that it is launching a program titled "YOKOSO! EIGAKAN!" which will allow visitors to view Japanese theatrical films with English subtitles.

The first film in the program is Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F'. The film will run with English subtitles in Tokyo's Shinjuku Wald 9 theater from May 30-31, and Kyoto's T-Joy Kyoto theater and Fukuoka's T-Joy Hakata from June 6-7.

In addition, the Japan 2.5-Dimensional Musical Association opened an English information page, advertising its eyeglass device that provides subtitles in a number of languages for stage plays. The glasses are available at the AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo in Shibuya.

The Naruto musical, Live Spectacle NARUTO, ran in the theater from April 29-May 10 with subtitles in English, Chinese, and French. The upcoming Hakuōki stage play will also run in the theater later this month, but subtitles have not yet been confirmed.

In addition to Naruto and Hakuōki, the Japan 2.5-Dimensional Musical Association has worked on the stage plays and musicals for Death Note, Sailor Moon, Mushi-Shi, Fushigi Yugi, Prince of Tennis, Yowapeda, Kamisama Kiss, Ultra Heroes, Ace Attorney, Kodocha, and more.
