Japanese production company Toei began streaming a trailer for its upcoming Gekijōban Kamen Rider Drive: Surprise Future and Shuriken Sentai Nin'ninger The Movie: Kyōryū Tono-sama Appare Ninpōchō! films on Thursday. The video shows scenes from both films.

In addition, Toei also streamed two videos on Thursday featuring the cast from both films promoting the ticket pre-order bonuses for the films.

Those who pre-order tickets for the films starting on June 13 will receive one of two "Manatsu Bakusō Hero" figure sets, one themed after Kamen Rider Drive, and one themed after Akaninger. Pre-order tickets cost 1,400 yen (around US$11) for adults, and 800 yen (around US$6.50) for children and middle-school students. Parent-child pairs can pre-order tickets for 2,100 yen (around US$17).

In addition, two types of premium pre-order tickets for the films will go on sale starting on July 11.

The first type of premium pre-order tickets will allow purchasers to select between two Banprest Micro series figures: one themed after Kamen Rider Drive Type Tridron, and one themed after Akaninger. This premium pre-order ticket will cost 1,900 yen (around US$15) for adults, and 1,300 yen (around US$10.50) for children and middle-school students.

The second type of premium pre-order tickets will allow purchasers to select between two different toys: a Shift Speed Wild Technic from Kamen Rider Drive, or a Special SG Nin-shuriken from Shuriken Sentai Nin'ninger. This premium pre-order ticket will cost 2,200 yen (around US$17.80) for adults, and 1,600 yen (around US$13) for children and middle-school students.

Purchasers can only pre-order the tickets from ticket booths at theaters.

The two films will open together on August 8.

Toei produced a one-hour crossover special for both shows that aired in March, titled Shuriken Sentai Nin'ninger VS Kamen Rider Drive Haruyasumi Gattai 1-jikan Special (Shuriken Sentai Nin'ninger VS Kamen Rider Drive: 1-Hour Spring Break Combo Special).

The Kamen Rider Drive special-effects series premiered in October 2014, and is currently airing on Japanese television. The series' story features android-like creatures called Roimyūdo who want to be human. However, some of the Roimyūdo are plotting to revolt against mankind. Shinnosuke tomari is a recruit in the Tokyo Metropolitan Police District's Special Unit. He turns into Kamen Rider Drive using the power of Shift Cars and the super car, Tridoron, to battle the Roimyūdo.

The Shuriken Sentai Nin'ninger special-effects series premiered in February, and marks the 40th anniversary of Toei's Super Sentai franchise. The story takes place after The Last Ninjer sealed away all the yōkai in the world. This lasted until The Last Ninjer's death, when the yōkai returned. His descendants, five cousins, battle the yōkai as the Nin'ninger.
