New Mamoru Hosoda and Studio Ghibli Films at London Film Festival

Mamoru Hosoda's film The Boy and The Beast will be screened at the London Film Festival, on Friday October 16 (6.15 p.m., Cineworld Haymarket) and Saturday 17 (3.15 p.m., Hackney Picturehouse). Tickets will be available here from 10 a.m. on September 17.
The London Film Festival will also screen Studio Ghibli's When Marnie Was There, directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi (Arrietty). The film will be shown on Saturday October 10 (2.30 p.m., Cineworld Haymarket) and Wednesday October 14 (6.15 p.m., BFI). Tickets will be available here, from 10 a.m. on September 17.
The festival is also screening Hirokazu Kore-eda's Our Little Sister film, which adapts Akimi Yoshida's (Banana Fish) Umimachi Diary manga. Kore-eda previously directed Still Walking and Like Father, Like Son.
The Umimachi Diary (Seaside Town Diary) manga is a crossover with Yoshida's 1995 Lovers' Kiss manga, which was adapted into a live-action film in 2003.
