1st Kizumonogatari Film's Tsubasa Hanekawa Ad Streamed

The official website for Kizumonogatari movies began streaming a commercial for the first film, Kizumonogatari I: Tekketsu-hen (Blood and Iron), on Sunday. The commercial features the character Tsubasa Hanekawa.
Kizumonogatari is the third volume in NisiOisin's Monogatari book series and is a prequel to Bakemonogatari. The novel tells the story of how protagonist Koyomi encounters the female vampire that would turn him and his journey to return to his normal life.
The film project is a trilogy, and the first film will open on January 8.
Akiyuki Simbo is once again credited as chief director at the anime studio SHAFT. Akio Watanabe and Hideyuki Morioka are designing the characters. Yōta Tsuruoka is directing the sound, and Satoru Kousaki is composing the music. Tatsuya Oishi is the director.
