Seitokai Yakuindomo Anime Film Reveals Staff, Cast, July 21 Premiere

The 2017 combined second and third issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine is revealing on Wednesday that the theatrical anime project based on Tozen Ujiie's Seitokai Yakuindomo manga will open in Japan on July 21. The anime project is titled Gekijōban Seitokai Yakuindomo. The issue is also revealing the film's cast and staff.
Hiromitsu Kanazawa is directing the film and is also overseeing the scripts. GoHands (K, Hand Shakers) is returning from the first series to animate the film, and Klock Worx is distributing. Makoto Furuta is also returning as the character designer and chief animation director. Ken Naito is the new art director, and Takanori Kikuchi is the new director of photography. Yūya Mori is again composing the music, and Ryō Tanaka is the sound director. Glovision is producing the sound, and King Records is producing the music.
The cast, who are returning from the previous two seasons and various OVAs, includes:

- Hekiru Shiina as Nene Todoroki
The anime project is celebrating the manga's 10th anniversary and the television anime's seventh anniversary. Tickets for the film go on sale starting on Wednesday, and ticket bundles will include a mini signed shikishi board. A second set of pre-order tickets will go on sale in March, and ticket bundles will include a school calendar. A third set of pre-order tickets will go on sale at a later date, and will feature a bundle with an as-yet unannounced extra item.
Some theaters screening the film will give theatergoers a different bonus item each week with a new illustration by Ujiie, for the first four weeks the film is in theaters.
Seitokai Yakuindomo centers around Ōsai Academy, a former all-girls private high school that was integrated for both genders. The student body is split between 524 girls and 28 boys. Takatoshi Tsuda is pushed into becoming the vice-president of the student council, where he is the lone male member surrounded by girls.
The 12th and 13th manga volumes both bundled OVAs when they shipped in September 2015 and on April 15, respectively. The 14th volume (pictured above right) will also bundle an OVA when it ships on December 16.
