Funimation Reveals English Dub Cast For My Hero Academia Season 2 Anime

Funimation Entertainment announced the English dub cast on Saturday for the second season of the My Hero Academia television anime series.

The new cast for season two includes:

  • Christopher Wehkamp as Eraserhead
  • David Wald as Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu
  • Jarrod Greene as Hitoshi Shinso
  • Alexis Tipton as Mei Hatsume

Alex Organ played Shota Aizawa (Eraserhead is the character's hero name) in the first season of the dub.

The returning cast from season one includes:

  • Christopher R. Sabat as All Might
  • Justin Briner as Izuku “Deku” Midoriya
  • Luci Christian as Ochaco Uraraka
  • Clifford Chapin as Bakugo “Kacchan” Katsuki
  • J. Michael Tatum as Tenya Ida
  • Sonny Strait as Present Mic
  • Joel McDonald as Yuga Aoyama
  • Caitlin Glass as Mina Ashido
  • Monica Rial as Tsuyu Asui
  • Kyle Phillips as Denki Kaminari
  • Justin Cook as Eijiro Kirishima
  • Christopher Bevins as Hanta Sero
  • Brina Palencia as Minoru Mineta
  • Mike McFarland as Mashirao Ojiro
  • Trina Nishimura as Kyoka Jiro
  • Colleen Clinkenbeard as Momo Yaoyorozu
  • Cris George as Rikido Sato
  • David Matranga as Shoto Todoroki

Funimation began streaming a second promotional video for the dub on March 23.

The series premiered in Japanese with English subtitles on Crunchyroll and Hulu on April 1, and FunimationNow is streaming the English dub. The first six dubbed episodes are launching on the same days the episodes air in Japan. The anime is listed with 25 episodes.

The anime's first season of 13 episodes premiered on the MBS /TBS channel last April. Funimation streamed the series in Japanese with English subtitles in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland as it aired in Japan. The company also streamed a broadcast dub.
