Celestial Method Anime Gets New Episode
posted on by Egan Loo
The official website for the Celestial Method television anime series announced on Monday that production on a brand-new episode has been green-lit. The episode will add at least one new character.

Celestial Method was an original fantasy work focusing on one girl's return to her hometown, after the death of her mother and resulting reunion with her childhood friends. One of those friends, though, she does not remember. That friend is Noel and she has some kind of connection to the UFO that hangs over the entire city.
Masayuki Sakoi directed the television series that premiered in October 2014 at the new Studio 3Hz off of an original concept and script by Naoki Hisaya (Kanon). The illustrator circle QP:flapper (MM!) designed the characters. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired, and Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime for North America.
In August, producer Takayuki Nagatani announced a sudden merchandise revival of the Celestial Method anime. Nagatani shared two new pieces of artwork of the original story's main characters.

Nagatani shared another new piece of artwork in September. The image shows the series' characters inside Boyotei Restaurant, a real restaurant within the series' real setting, Tōyako, Hokkaido. However, the image features a previously unseen pink-haired girl:
