Celestial Method Gets Sudden Merchandise Revival
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Producer Takayuki Nagatani announced on Twitter on Wednesday that production company Infinite is considering new merchandise for its 2014 fantasy drama Celestial Method. The announcement has seemingly come out of nowhere, but fans excitedly commented on the news with more potential merchandise ideas for the show. Nagatani shared two new pieces of artwork that are being considered to create wall scrolls and clear files.
Celestial Method was an original work focusing on one girl's return to her hometown after the death of her mother and reuniting with her childhood friends. One of those friends, though, she doesn't remember. That friend is Noel and she has some kind of connection to the UFO that hangs over the entire city.
sola original creator Naoki Hisaya drafted the anime's original concept with original character designs by Girlish Number's QP:flapper.
Callum May and Kim Morrissy interviewed Nagatani earlier this month where he discusses how original works like Celestial Method, A Lull in the Sea, and Flip Flappers are made.
