Piofiore, Cafe Enchante otome games also get releases in 2020

Anime News Network's coverage of Anime Expo 2019 is sponsored by Yen Press.

Aksys Games announced on Friday that it will release the Code:Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~, Code:Realize ~Future Blessings~, Collar X Malice, Collar X Malice -Unlimited-, Piofiore (working title), and Cafe Enchante otome games for Nintendo Switch in 2020.

The original Code:Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ game shipped in Japan for the PlayStation Vita in 2014. Aksys Games released the original game from Idea Factory and Design Factory in North America and Europe in October 2015.

The company describes the game's story:

Restricted to an abandoned mansion on the outskirts of London in fulfillment of a promise to her father, lonely Cardia lives day to day isolated from the world. Her body carries a deadly poison that rots or melts anything her skin touches, prompting the locals to call her a “monster.”

Her last conversation with her father two years ago, telling her to stay out of sight and never fall in love, is the furthest back she can remember. One day, her quiet solitude is interrupted as the Royal Guards break in to capture her. It is then that Cardia meets Arsène Lupin, a chivalrous thief, who helps her escape the soldiers' clutches. She soon finds herself on a journey with Lupin to locate her father, who holds the answers to her mysterious condition. The two are soon joined by four more interesting and handsome gentlemen…

The Code:Realize ~Future Blessings~ (Code:Realize ~Shukufuku no Mirai~) fandisc launched in Japan for the PS Vita in November 2016. Aksys Games released the game for PS Vita in March 2018. The company simultaneously released the Code:Realize ~Bouquet of Rainbows~ PlayStation 4 game, which includes both the original game and the Future Blessings fandisc.

The game's anime adaptation premiered in October 2017. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired and Funimation is offering an English dub.

Otomate released the original Collar X Malice otome mystery visual novel in Japan in August 2016, and Aksys Games released the game in English in July 2017. Aksys Games describes the story:

A dangerous shadow organization launches a campaign of fear and violence in the city of Shinjuku, pushing society to the brink of chaos. As a young police officer tasked with restoring order, you become the target of an attack, and have a poisonous collar attached to your neck. With the situation spiraling out of control and time running out, five mysterious strangers appear to aid you in your quest for the truth. Who can you trust? Will you be able to save yourself and the soul of Shinjuku from the clutches of oblivion?

The Collar X Malice Unlimited fan disc — which included an interlude, sequel story, and three side stories — shipped for PlayStation Vita in Japan in July 2018. Otomate revealed in June that the original game and Collar X Malice Unlimited will appear on the Switch, with the original game slated for the Switch in 2020.

Aksys Games describes Piofiore as following "the adventures of Lily, an orphan plunged into the center of a Mafia war in early twentieth century Italy." The original Piofiore no Banshō PS Vita game shipped in Japan in August 2018. Otomate revealed in June that the Piofiore no Banshō - Episodia 1926 sequel will get a Switch release.

Aksys Games describes the story of Cafe Enchante as "a young girl inherits her grandfather's eatery only to discover that none of the patrons are human."
