Naoko Yamada's The Colors Within U.K. Home Editions Released on Monday

On Monday September 15, Anime Limited will release the film The Colors Within, animated by Science SARU and directed by Naoko Yamada, on August 25. There is a Collector's Edition including the film on Blu-ray and DVD as well as a CD of the film's Original Soundtrack. There will also be separate Blu-ray and DVD standard editions.

The Collector's Edition, pictured, will also include a 52-page booklet and three art cards. Additionally, it will include an exclusive bonus Blu-ray with "director interviews, scene break-downs and more," according to Anime Limited.

Anime Limited describes the film as follows:

"Totsuko is a high school student with the ability to see the ‘colours’ of others. Colours of bliss, excitement, and serenity, plus a colour she treasures as her favourite. Kimi, a classmate at her school, gives off the most beautiful colour of all.

"Although she doesn't play an instrument, Totsuko forms a band with Kimi and Rui, a quiet music enthusiast they meet at a used bookstore in a far corner of town. As they practice at an old church on a remote island, music brings them together, forming friendships and stirring affections. Will they discover their true ‘colours’?”

MVM will release a Blu-ray Steelbook edition of the 13-part 1998 TV series Serial Experiments Lain. MVM describes the series:

"There is a world around us, a world of people, tactile sensation, and culture. There is also a wired world, inside the computer, of images, personalities, virtual experiences, and a culture all of its own. The day after a classmate commits suicide, Lain, a 13 year old girl, discovers how closely the 2 worlds are linked when she receives an e-mail from the dead girl: I still live here. I just abandoned my body. Has the line between the real world and the wired world begun to blur?"

Anime Limited will also release a Blu-ray edition of the series Black Bullet. Muse Asia has previously described the anime:
Gastrea, grotesque-looking parasitic lifeforms suddenly appeared. With their red-sparkling eyes, overwhelming strength, and abnormal regeneration capabilities, humanity doesn't stand a chance against their invasion. Now that humanity had lost half of its territory, they live in a place surrounded by monoliths made from the only metal Gastrea are weak against, "Varanium." They have no other choice than to live in fear of Gastrea, hiding inside the small Area. In such a situation, the humanity that survived formed an organization, and it consists of specialists that have a way to fight Gastrea. They're called "Civil Security Agency," shortened as "Civil Officer." Amongst them, is Rentaro Satomi, a high school boy that's affiliated with Tendo Civil Security Agent. Along with his partner, Aihara Enju, he got involved in schemes that might bring destruction into Tokyo.

The anime originally premiered in Japan in April 2014 with 13 episodes. Masayuki Kojima (Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, The Piano Forest) directed the anime at Kinema Citrus from scripts by Tatsuhiko Urahata (Saki Episode of Side A, Cardfight!! Vanguard). Senbon Umishima designed the characters, while Shiro Sagisu (Bleach, Neon Genesis Evangelion) composed the music. Yō Yamada (The Garden of Words, Penguindrum) served as sound director.

Kanzaki began publishing the story under the Dengeki Bunko label with illustrations by Saki Ukai in July 2011, and ASCII Media Works shipped the seventh volume of the light novel series in April 2014.

Anime Limited will also release a Blu-ray of the television anime of Quantum and Hana Amano's I'm Quitting Heroing: Next Gig Is at the Demon Queen's Castle (Yūsha, Yamemasu: Tsugi no Shokuba wa Maōjō) fantasy light novel series. The Blu-ray includes the 12 TV episodes as well as the OAV episodes.

The story centres on Leo, a hero who once saved the world from a demon army's invasion. However, he was feared and ostracized by people afterward, and ended up with no job. Feeling that his skills would be better appreciated elsewhere, he joins the demon lord's army that he once fought. Now in a new work environment, Leo strives to use his skills and revive the demon army that is on the brink of collapse.

Yuu Nobuta (High School Fleet, Maesetsu! Opening Act, The Faraway Paladin) was the chief director, while Hisashi Ishii (Rainy Cocoa side G, Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear) directed the series at EMT Squared. Shigeru Murakoshi (Zombie Land Saga, to the abandoned Sacred Beasts, The Gymnastics Samurai) was in charge of the series scripts. Yūki Nakano (A Destructive God Sits Next to Me, Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear) designed the characters.

Crunchyroll will release Blu-ray ediiton of the 12-part first TV season of Wistoria: Wand and Sword. Kodansha USA Publishing releases the manga in English, and the company describes the story:

"A new, magical dungeon-adventure fantasy series from the author of Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?! To fulfill the promise he made to his childhood friend, Will Serfort enters Regarden Magic Academy with the goal of making it to the top of the magical world. There's just one problem—he doesn't know how to use magic! Will the seemingly ordinary sword in his hand be the key to unlock his True potential?"

Tatsuya Yoshihara (action director for Chainsaw Man) directed the anime at Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures. Sayaka Ono (CROSS ANGE Rondo of Angel and Dragon) designed the characters and served as chief animation director. Raita Sunaga, Yoshirou Harada, and Ryou Akizuki were in charge of monster design. Hiroto Morishita was the sound director at Jinnan Studio. Yuki Hayashi (My Hero Academia) composed the music at Lantis.

Ōmori (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) and Aoi launched the manga in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in December 2020.

Anime Limited will also release Bleach Set 7, carrying episodes 168 to 195. The set will include three art cards. Anime Limited describes the set:

"The appointment of new captain Shusuke Amagai leaves the members of Squad Three with mixed feelings, especially about the tasks he assigns. Will he be able to win their trust, and will the squad recover from its previous captain's betrayal? Meanwhile, a suspicious trio transfers to Ichigo's school in the World of the Living - and then Ichigo is thrust into a new battle as he encounters a group of assassins out to kill one of them."

Anime Limited will also release a Blu-ray of Naruto Volume 7, carrying episodes 166 to 192. Anime Limited describes the volume:

"Disaster strikes the Village Hidden in the Leaves when Ichiraku Ramen is mysteriously closed! Ayame's been kidnapped, and if Naruto and Choji want their noodles, they'll have to save her first! Then, the sea rages with fury as Naruto faces a briny behemoth of epic proportions. Can his ninja training save him? And finally, the action heads to the Village Hidden in the Stars as Naruto and Neji's team tracks down a legendary item of great power!"
