Digital Manga Launches PeCChi - A new Manga imprint
Gardena, CA (May 25, 2016) - Digital Manga Inc. is proud to announce our latest imprint: PeCChi!
This new imprint, PeCChi will introduce a whole new level of ecchi manga, a popular term used by fans of anime and manga culture to describe sexual acts presented in said medium. It is a gateway to introduce English-speaking fans across the world into mature themed manga the pleasant way of reading it, without having it to be pornographic. PeCChi is targeted at older teens and mature audiences. The titles will feature either suggestive traps (boys cross-dressing as girls), yuri (girl's love), and even more suggestive content titles with an age rating ranging from 16+ to 18+. A few select titles previously licensed under Project-H's imprint will be switching over to the new imprint starting with Princess Lucia in 2016. Our first set of new titles for our new imprint is Emu's The Secret Devil-Chan and Hideaki Yoshikawa's Me and the Impish Devil.
“This new imprint will let fan's recognize which manga have mature and suggestive content without confusing it as porn. I wanted to show fans there are manga for adults that is not strictly pornographic. Fans don't have to resort to hentai if they want an actual plot with the author's intent to just tell a story and not focus on the “naughty” bits."
