But in the case of BSP, that would only be its second season, not its third. But yeah, Yuru Yuri does seem like a good candidate for a third season as well.

Space Pirates has a movie and theres not enough novel content left yet to do a 13 episode series, so that one isn't getting a new series anytime soon. Maybe in a couple years after a few more novels are out. |

Strangely, this series has become somewhat of a hit with fujoshi. I have seen quite a few doujinshi coming out recently featuring fujoshi pleasing elements.

Not all that much. I've only seen a few Gaul doujinshi, and even then most of them involved his sister.
The girls get far more attention. |

I'm a little confused. There has been eight light novel volumes of the original Minisuka Pairētsu series published; just how far did the first season go in covering the storyline of the light novel volumes? |

This may not be the best show, but it definitely makes me smile every episode so I look forward to it every week. Now i get to look forward to a season three!! More fan service!! More high powered battles!! More animals!!

The anime only covered the first three novels and I believe at least seven are now out, so the amount of material is not an issue. However, the last arc of the anime is anime-original and the movie will clearly be picking up with that. It's very possible the anime has done things that will make it difficult or impossible to just adapt more of the novels. But that just makes the amount of source material matter even less, they could do an entire series that is completely original or only very loosely based on the novels. |

Right you are. Not only that, but the first season of Phi Brain was broadcast in the Fall of 2011 whereas the first Dog Days was broadcast in Spring of 2011, so the Phi Brain 3 announcement (back in September) came even faster. |
