He was one of the greatest VA of all time. I really loved his voice in the first season of FMA even since I was a kid. And I remembered it for my whole life. He was very talented.
I will miss you, Fujiwara Keiji. Rest in peace. |

Poor guy. I may not be that familiar with his work, but dying from cancer is never a good thing for anyone to go through. Rest in peace, friend.

Very sad. His voice was so memorable and iconic, and I'll miss hearing him when World Trigger comes back.

A big favorite of mine, and I was so happy to see him pick up more work lately that I could never suspect he was fighting cancer. May he rest in peace.

This is very sad to hear. His voice was very recognizable and to think that he had only one speaking scene as Admiral Ryokugyu in One Piece and now that character will have to be casted with a new voice actor again whenever he gets another speaking scene. Oddly enough the same thing happened with Big Mom where the original voice actress had one speaking scene and then the character was re-casted with Mami Koyama as the voice actress because the original voice actress passed away from cancer.

He was one of the greatest seiyuu of our time, and he will be sorely missed.

This is terrible news. I've been a fan of his for quite a while.

Man, that one HURTS. He was one of the great "trickster" voice actors whether it was Axel, Zenzou, Kagura Mutsuki, or Tony Stark. He leaves a great void behind

Rest in Peace. I could list what I've heard him in but that would take up half a page.
He was replaced as Holland from Eureka Seven and Hiroshi from Shin-chan by Toshiyuki Morikawa a few years ago though he didn't stop voice acting despite these health issues. But just last season he was in Cautious Hero and also reprised his role in Final Fantasy VII remake. |

Keiji Fujiwara was definitely one of my favorite voice talents - not just in anime, but dubbing movies as well. Being able to voice a convincing Iron Man and Joker must have been pretty awesome, but he took all of his roles seriously like a real pro.
Rest In Peace |

I'm very saddened by the news, Keiji was an amazing voice actor, his role as Hughes in the Fullmetal Alchemist series was amazing, he was awesome as the villainous Ali Al-Saachez in Gundam 00, and I've heard that despite his health problems he managed to voice RDJ as Tony Stark all the MCU movies, as well as the same character in other projects, that's dedication.
We'll miss you, mister Fujiwara. RIP |
