Ordered for Curbside Pickup at Best Buy:
Sony - Streaming 4K Ultra HD Hi-Res Audio Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-Ray Player (Model:UBPX700 ... since I have a 4K TV, figured time to upgrade & future-proof a little...plus I picked up Bad Boys For Life on BD/UHD in Steelbook from BB last Tuesday and want to watch the 4K disc) Toy Story 2 UHD 4K Steelbook Toy Story 3 UHD 4K Steelbook Toy Story 4 UHD 4K standard Boyz N the Hood UHD 4K Steelbook ---------------------- Received a manga order from BaM: Futaribeya 1 Teasing Master Takagi-san 1 We Never Learn 9 To Love-ru Darkness 15 Komi Can't Communicate 4 Komi Can't Communicate 5 [Sadly, with publishers besides Viz slowing/pausing print releases, I'll be waiting a good bit for the next volumes of some titles I am current on like Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro and Harukana Receive, which were originally scheduled for May/June, but pushed to August per the release dates at TRSI...got a few early-May titles on my list that aren't yet delayed, so there's that) |

Some things I had bought online over the last couple of weeks:
CLAMP School Paranormal Investigators Vol. 1 CLAMP no Kiseki Vol. 5 (this one disappointed me because it showed that it had the chess pieces, but it clearly didn't; I'm not returning it though, since I still need the volume for my collection) X Omnibus Vol. 6 He's My Only Vampire Vols. 4 & 10 I didn't learn until I started this search that some of the volumes of He's My Only Vampire had seemed to have gone out of print, especially Vol. 4. I have it ordered from BAM, but it's on backorder, and honestly I worry that I may get an email eventually saying that my order will be cancelled. I really hope not, though. I know this is my punishment for not keeping up with the series as it dropped, and lordy it sucks. OOP books are the bane of my existence. But I'll keep my hopes up that maybe, just maybe, I'll get lucky and snag this last volume I need. |

The local Half Price Books are starting to re-open. We decided to make a trip out. Was happy with the measures they had in place (cleaning, limiting to under 16 customers/20 minutes shopping time preference, etc.), but was also just happy to get out and about a bit too. Picked up a few things:

Blu-Ray Shirobako Parts 1-2 DVD Utawarerumono False Faces DVD Getting DVD instead of Blu-Ray for some of these newer titles isn't ideal, but it sure seems like a lot of stuff is going out of print left and right with Sentai. Has to be a little concerning, though I guess I can't blame them for moving away from the ADV model of excessive print runs and endless repackagings that doesn't fit with the modern "seasonal-focused" clientele. |
