I dont know. I believe at some point Issei will finally get his harem and Koneko will be a part of it, which will sink that ship

You say that like he hasn't conquered her already. The thing I like the least about the series is the whole harem thing. I like harem anime, but I don't like harem endings. Call me old fashioned but I think relationships should be monogamous. There's something... scummy about a guy who can hop from one girl to another and back again like it was nothing. Of course if all parties involved are cool with that and no harm is being done I won't try to stop them, but I don't have to like it. At least Issei is upfront about it so he's a lot less scummy than Makoto was. The inevitable harem end coupled with some of the spoilers I've read about how ridiculously absurd things get have me debating how far with the series I'm willing to go. I'm enjoying myself now, but if we get a 5th or 6th season down the line I don't know if I'll stick with it. But I'll cross that bridge when we get to it. |

sure, but she's basically a princess, and Issei is, well, nothing. I'd also wager that she is fiercely loyal to her older brother, so getting her to admit anything will be one hell of a challenge. |

I'm with you here. That might be a big part of why I liked Ichiban Ushiro No DaiMaou so much - it's more of a pseudo-harem; there was only ever really one legitimate LI. And she was the cast's resident tsundere, which helped. 
Although it's crossed my mind that Issei's upfront-ness about wanting a harem might just be the one thing that suggests it won't actually end that way... wasn't there a bit in episode one where he was agonizing over how to make a move on the Prez without hurting Asia's feelings? Kinda seems like he's already made his choice... Or maybe it's just wishful thinking. (Also, hello ANN fora!) |

I think part of the problem is that Issei probably doesn't have any romantic interest in Asia. She's in love with him, and going after other women is going to hurt her, and he doesn't want that, but he so badly wants that harem. Rias isn't making things any easier now that she's living in his house, and giving him the green light to make a move. He wants to so bad, but Asia lives there too and that of course will make her sad. Add in the fact that she's a high class devil to a very powerful family. I wouldn't be surprised if part of what is holding him back is his fear of what could happen to him should he try and do anything, which of course, would make Asia sad if something did happen.
