Hint 2: spoiler[The people in the two worlds are linked, such that if one is killed their counterpart will also die. Thanks for running the game Errinundra! Sorry if I'm late addressing this, I was on vacation for a full week and busy/unavailable to be here and since then I've had to spend time working and catching up on things, including all the anime I missed in a week 
I do recall the original discussion years ago about some of these rules, but I think this rule in particular isn't worth-while, I can't imagine people not looking if they wanted to guess first to see if it was guessed already by the name they thought of, and it's easy enough to scroll to see pic first to guess if you want without seeing an answer if you really want to. To be self-serving since it just recently happened to me, how would people feel about someone making more than one guess if first was incorrect? I understand this rule in a way since the intent was to keep people from running up the 10 guesses and moving on to a new picture, but I don't *think* this has ever happened, although I was off this site for a stretch and can't say for certainty. Maybe change it to one guess after each new clue was given? Especially since there are at times a lot fewer players around then when this game first started. How would people feel about this? If y'all don't feel like this is a good idea I understand, I'll be happy just to drop spoilers or the answer is incorrect rule. thanks for consideration Errinundra! |

For the proposed rule changes, I would be in favor of getting rid of spoiler tags. I think they were just so people could come along later and go through the thread to see if they could guess the characters, but I don't think anyone is actually doing that. I'd prefer to keep it at one guess per person though. Being able to guess and then guess again would take any of the tension out of making a guess when you aren't sure, which I think would make the game less fun. |
