As interesting as the videos are I feel the no bra jiggling breasts were uncalled for. I can understand that and panty shots were aimed for fan service but to me it just takes away from her cute factor. It also made me highly uncomfortable since in the 2nd video miku's face looked like she was 12.

I am okay with 3d rendition, even though I still prefer it to be 2d and unrealistic. Because, her voice herself is not realistic (I am not saying this in a bad way).
The problem for me is, oh, damn, those awful erect-nipples! And that impossible shirt! And that large breast, with erect nipples! The 3D actually looks pretty good but, again, those awful erect-nipples. I am so distracted about those... |

glad to see I'm not the only person who found these videos... unusual. I find it kinda contradictory to have a virtual idol and to strive to make her more realistic.

Well the live action mimic is nothing new as there are several on Youtube by fans. It would be even more awsome if it was Fujita Saki actually singing whilst wearing the wig. But that other one below it? Well! hasn't Miku grown into a big girl now? Luka must be ever so jealous. Next they will be hanging a pair of D's on Rin, also I think that Miku needs orthodontic braces, as well.

Definitely. The live action video is pretty cute. I've always imagined Miku being lazy and lounging when she's not on stage or in use. Oh wait, I shouldn't impress a personality on her. LOL. I don't really care much for the second videos since its not one of my favorite songs (that and it was a bitch in Project Diva). |

The first video was really cute. Sort of like the daily life of Miku when she's not on the job.
The second video was a train wreck. I giant cow tits are so uncharacteristic of Miku I couldn't believe someone out there thought it was a good idea. And maybe it just because I'm in school for animation and whatnot, but all I could do was point out all the faults in the animation and modeling of the 3D Miku model. Places where the hair went through her geometry or her shoulder pinched naturally. Just horribly done cgi and animation all around. |

These are really creepy videos. I'm sure these are fan made as there is no way Crypton will forsaken the beautiful current 3D Miku models it made for the sake of some ad-lib singer with a green wig or a horrible 3D doll with big boobs.

Wow, it was really amateur hour! I love it when people use Maya and other CG tools, but have no idea what the heck they are doing because they don't understand the fundamentals of CG theory. First, the uncanny valley is a result of not properly modelling how the light interacts with skin (protip: it's not just translucent) and trying to wing it. Bad, bad, bad! Also, keep an eye on Miku's shoulders, you'll notice the skin "pinching" and "crimping" at times, like she lost a few bones in her arm! Once again, somebody doesn't know even the basics of how to rig the characters for animation! This is like CG 101, how can you goof up on that? All in all, it was terrible, bad. Don't be fooled by them flipping all the "cool" presets in the software to cover for their obvious incompetence.

First one was great? Well compared to the second I suppose so but on it's own...yea no. I can accept the concept and effort but the live action one just didn't.....flow right. It felt disjointed and just awkward. As for the second one....yea that was just a bit wrong. Wayyyyy too much emphasis on her chest and the obviously cold weather. I don't mind that per se but it's just too out of place on Miku. |
