I've read the first volume from Fullmoon Wo Sagashite and also from Time Stranger Kyoko, but I'm a bit disappointed in Time Stranger (in my opinion it's not so funny as Fullmoon, too fast developping and not so original/novel...).
I'm just wondering if it gets better in the 2nd and 3rd volume and if there are other series by Arina Tanemura you'd suggest. I think her drawing style is pretty amazing!
I really like Fullmoon and I think I'm going to collect this series... Has anyone read all of it?

I've picked up a volume or two of Shinshi Doumei Cross before, and it was a bit of a dissapointment compared to FMwS. I think the development in the story isn't that great at all, but then again, I've never been much of a shoujo fan. Her art really is nice though, and I can pick it out from the other Ribon Mascot Comics artsist, who have freakishly similar drawing styles... I think she gained a lot of popularity from her work Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, but I've never read it. I hear its liscenced by some North American company, since it's listed on amazon.com.

Correct... sadly, CMX owns the rights to KKJ, which is why I won't be buying it - not until they fix the Ten Ten fiasco at least. Besides, I own a few volumes in Japanese already, so I don't particularily feel anything wrong in sticking with the fanscans. Worst case scenario, I get the remaining volumes in Japanese.

Well, I've looked over any solicitations or changes in press releases from CMX, and I've seen no mention of a cancellation for Jeanne. It's more likely a matter of a delay anyway, given that they've already paid for the license.

Concerning Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, as far as I know, the major Arina Tanemura fan community is pretty gung-ho about the release despite what happened to Tenjo Tenge. After all, TenTen is pretty much porn (in my opinion) versus KKJ being a magical girl story with romance and religious insinuations.
As for its release, what I heard was that DC/CMX came across from publishing issues for the first volume. It's probably over the clarity of the translation or some approvals from Tanemura. Volume one isn't really offensive to begin with. =\
