Because she's not some plastic nobody from some trashy reality show.

Anyway

Well I'll be looking out for her books, never even heard of her to be fair....still doesn't stop this news from sucking though =/

Eh?

While the news was posted in the US news soon after, I was more intrigued why it would be a UK specific news rather than anime news in general.
But I guess I now understand a little better how this side of the ANN works.
