Throughout the wide, expansive world of Japanese animation, there exists an incredibly large number of battles, fights, and duels. The participants of these duels are usually very interesting characters, and these duels can often have literally earth-shaking results.
However, every so often there may be two characters who seem destined to fight each other, but cannot due to one simple problem: they are from two entirely different anime series! So this thread is where you can post whatever fight that you have been dying to see. The rules are short and simple. You may submit only two characters, unless it is a tag-team duel, in which case, each team must have the same number of members; you must tell what anime(s) the charatcers are from; and you must tell why you believe that these two characters would have reason to fight each other. For example, the first fight that I will submit to this thread is Hercule Satan from Dragon Ball Z versus Don Kanonji from Bleach. This fight will be to determine who is the most annoying dumbass in Japanese animation. The second fight that I will submit is Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII versus Byakuya Kuchiki from Bleach. They are two of my favorite fictional characters, and I think that a fight between them would be quite entertaining to witness. So, does everyone like this idea? Hmmm i've seen something like this done in the Anime Insider magazine. Just one thing? Can it also be team fights? But for now i'll submit my dream deathmatch.
I'd like to see Kurosaki Ichigo from Bleach take on InuYasha from InuYasha face off agaisnt each other in a battle of Zangetsu versus Tetsusaiga. Two giant swords facing off against each other with their powerful attackss the Tetsusaiga's Wind Scar and Zangetsu's Getsugo Tensho. I'd like to see Kuroro Lucifer, the man who can copy almost any technique or ability from anybody else in HxH against Hatame Kakashi, the ninja who can copy almost any technique or jutsu.
They are both among the coolest characters ever created. They have the same special ability. Would they be able to copy techniques from each other? It would really be great to watch them both. BTW, Byakuga and Sephiroth would be a cool fight too. I think Byakuga would win. Sephiroth would not be able to keep up with the flash stepping. Luminal |

The name of Ichigo's technique is Getsuga Tensho, which means "moon's fang slicing through heaven." And yes, you may have team fights, but try to ensure that the teams are evenly matched. |

Ok here's the team vs team fight I want to see.
On the red corner we have: 1) Chado and his super arm 2) Orihime and her protective/healing powers 3) Ishida and his bow of spiritual energy 4) Ichigo and his tremendous shinigami power And on the blue corner we have: 1) Leorio and his limited Nen power 2) Gon and his Nen super strength 3) Killua and his assessination tecniques 4) Kurapica and his incredibly powerful chains The fight I see developing would pitch Leorio against Orihime. I think Leorio might keep her busy for a while but Orihime would be able to hurt him after a while. Chado would probably take on Gon. Even if his arm is so powerful, Gon's speed would be too much for Chado and even he he manages to hit Gon, Gon would be able to deflect the power using his Nen. Killua would fight Ishida. That would be a good fight. If Killua were able to get close to him he could finish him easily, but would he be able to get close? And lastly, Ichigo would take Kurapica. Of course, this fight rests on the supposition that Kurapica spoiler[ is able to fight people outside the ryodan ]. A good fight, definately. Although even though Kurapica is able to spoiler[heal any and all of his wounds ] Ichigo is probably much too powerful for him. Luminal |

Hiei from Yuyu Hakusho versus Ashitaka from Princess Mononoke in a knife edge death match (that should be copyrighted serioulsy; its genius). The two of them fight with one hand tied behind their backs and their sword in the other hand but Ashitaka gets to use his demon hand in the fight because Hiei is friggin demon already. Now That is something I'd like to see. And for all those who say naw man Ashitaka is just a human even with the hand, watch the movie again: spoiler[He shot a duke's arm (both of them) and another guys head off. And if that ain't enough he friggin took a shot straight to the stomach by a friggin hand cannon.] Yusuke died from a car and he can beat Hiei. trust me I think its evenly matched.

i'd enjoy a fight between spike spiegel of cowboy bebop and lupin III, of lupin III i think that despite spikes martial arts and stuff, lupin would probably win with some inventive machine like thing. some sort of trick on lupins behalf would end the fight in his favor.
