If you like/loves the Yu-Gi-Oh! TV series, you will most likely love the Manga, the first four volumes are untold stories before the first season that aired in America. I highly recomend it to a Yu-Gi-Oh! fan.

Yup. The manga is different from the anime for the first seven volumes before it became a little monotonous. But it is great. All kinds of ideas for different games, so you gotta love it.

Yeah, I also loved the first "series" (7 volumes) of the manga. Very original, and even though I'm not a big fan of board or card games some of the manga-ka's ideas for games were very fun and original. I stopped there and didn't feel like going on to the duelist kingdom portion, but can anyone recommend me the last arc of the series, which deals with Yami's past in ancient Egypt? I've always been curious about that.

You mean 7.

And the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga is pretty good until it turns into the cards. I mean, where's the logic in "If you don't beat me in a card game, i'll take over the world"? Some of the games Takahashi thinks of are very interesting.

Strangely enough I did in fact enjoy the first few volumes. Later is gets a bit long for me, but the beginning isn't too bad. If you liked the anime, you should check the manga out. It doesn't really have many card battles; instead the story focuses on different games every chapter or two.
