As an addendum for all of you screaming at me about "censorship," most of us (myself included) weren't exactly advocating censoring the word. YOU jumped to that conclusion. We were simply voicing our objection as a result of one person's asking about the word. We'd rather not hear it, but we're not censoring it. There is a difference. Someone asked people's opinions on a word, people gave it, other people started crying "Nazi!" at those that said they'd prefer not to hear it, and the situation worsened from there.
Some others of us (myself not included) would like to ban the word, yes, but we're not going to. So you can stop with the accusations already. And the thread was closed for cheez's, v1cious', Darth's, and other members' trolling, not because those with power are in disagreement. Maybe the comments I said out of frustration were a bit misleading, yes, but there was a legitimate reason for locking this thread whether you believe that or not. You want to scream at somebody over it? Scream at cheez and all the others who refuse to remain civil and act like smartmouth little brats. |
