is it just me or does Natsu's voice sound ever so slightly 'rougher' in this?

Hard to tell. Todd always rips his throat out when performing the voice.

I do think Natsu's voice is a little rougher in this clip. A tiny bit scratchy too; perhaps Todd had a sore throat during recording?

I like the clip, but the art I'm a little iffy about. It reminds me of the art from the FullMetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos. Turned out to be a great movie, but the art kinda threw me off. But likely I'll still enjoy the movie despite it.

Also, is it just me, or does the clip seem want to go in-and-out with the audio? Like it'll be really quiet, then suddenly blast through the speakers, then back to quiet again? I'm hoping that's just the clip being uploaded online and not the movie; I hate having to adjust the volume every few moments to keep it reasonable.

That audio seemed off.

I wonder if that was bad editing for the clip or for the DVD as a whole.

I agree. The sound mixer dropped the music WAY too low in dialogue sections, then decided to pound it when there was no talking. It's kind of bad, especially for a movie.
