The main titles.

Why some of the main titles are in English,I mean in the English version of the title?

For example:
Fullmetal Alchemist (#2960).
The title is the English version.
I think it should be "Hagane no Renkinjutsushi" - which is the original title.

Isn't it better for the main titles to be in the original Japanese version?

It is also called Fullmetal Alchemist by the Japanese.

The main title for an anime in the Encyclopedia is always the official North American title for licensed anime. Whether it is the original title or not is irrelevant.
