Turn A Gundam is saved! Totally picking this set up. Right Stuf just earned my interest with these announcements and that's not something that's easy to do.

Woo! Classic Gundam is back! I've been waiting for ZZ(despite a lot of flack, I still want to see it to see how it fits in the timeline) ever since Zeta was released in 2004 or so! I'm also pumped for Turn A, since Bandai Entertainment teased it and never released it in the U.S. Thank you, Right Stuf!

Do not unleash ZZ´s suck upon the world (but what great opening songs !) and go for Victory ! It may also be out of continuety or something. Tomina is crazy that way. ZZ is the worst UC show by a mile and it is sandwitched by the beast (Zeta + Char) . The Turn a Gundam and OG series news is good though.

Let me quote Ryusuke Hikawa in "Japanese Animation Guide: The History of Robot Anime" and say that ZZ is "redundant in name and in content".

Couldn't we have just skipped ZZ? Yay for the rest of the stuff though! Nice to see the Gundam franchise get it's second wind here.

As someone who is currently watching ZZ, I am decidedly indifferent on the matter. Happy that those who prefer legal releases can finally see it, but not sure if I'll pick it up. Quality issues aside (which there are plenty), it's not an anime. Why is Right Stuf releasing it?

Holy shit, yes!
Gundam releasing in the US again.
Seconding the post for Gundam X, would love to buy it, loved that show. And great to hear they're working on The Origin, plus NYAV did a great job on Unicorn's dub.
Hopefully Reconguista in G also gets a dual-audio blu-ray release when they announce how they are doing that one.

ZZ's middle section is amazing, the start is too goofy and it sort of drifts into it's last act but the show gets way more flack than it deserves.

This is long overdue especially since ZZ representation has been in many localized Gundam titles.

Gundam ZZ's one of the few older Gundam titles I have yet to watch. Guess I'll be tempted to snag this up next year whenever RightStuf releases it.
