I haven't really seen anyone talking about what I consider to be the best anime ever made, so I'm looking around for opinions on those who have seen it.

Well, you might want to add a little information of your own about it. Give us something to work with. May want to edit the post and add a bit more yourself as it may get locked otherwise.
As for my opinion on the series it is definitely one of my favorites, if not the favorite. The series simply has so much going for it. It's not drawn out, it's only 13 episodes but doesn't feel rushed and doesn't feel like it's wasting any time. It develops the characters very effectively and tells its story almost flawlessly. The story itself is also very well thought out and thought provoking, has a good message to it and a lot of depth. Best of all it doesn't rely on fanservice, violence or anything along those lines to try to create appeal, it is what it is and that's a slow paced, well told story.
On top of that there's the artwork, while the animation itself isn't amazing the artwork and detail of the world around them is. Each scene looks like it could easily be framed and hung on a wall as a work of art and appreciated by even the most snobbish collectors. Add to that the beautiful and fitting musical score and it creates a world and atmosphere despite the somewhat lacking quality of the animation itself. It's not without its faults, but the pluses easily overshadow those faults and while the animation isn't great I wouldn't really say it's bad either, but there's certainly better out there.
To me this series is just about everything coming together in such a perfect way. It's not that it's the best in one area, it's that it's great in almost every area. I can see how action fans might hate it, despite the short length it's very slow paced and the first quarter of the series is really just character development and some slice of life storylines. For anyone looking for some depth and quality storytelling though this is definitely a terrific title.

You, first. That's the way we do things around here. If you're going to start a discussion, it's good manners to at least present your own comments and opinions to actually get something started.
If you want add something, let me know so I can unlock this thread and allow you to do so. After that, you all can talk about the series as much as you want.

It’s the really fun dynamic between the central trio that keeps the show bounding along so entertainingly.― I know, I know, it's yet another “reincarnated as an otome game villainess” anime. It seems we get at least one or two every season, so shouldn't the formula be getting stale by now? So went my thought process anyway, and I almost skipped out on this wonderful show as a result of my fatigue re...
Director Tanemura himself commented, “I'm very happy with what I saw, and it's hard to believe I made that. Originally premiering in 2017, Black Clover's first season covers up to the Spade Kingdom Raid arc. Despite the four-year run with over 17...

Instead, it handles dark, difficult topics with respect while still gleefully poking fun at how silly people can be.― Having once been a high school girl, I can assure you that there's nothing mythically pure and sweet about it. High school is messy, and that goes for the girls attending it as well as the boys. Too much media depicts high s...

Archeology is more than just running through tombs full of monsters – sometimes, archeology means you have to bring down corporate conglomerates and governments, as well.― It is an adage that bad guys often make the most interesting characters, but in Tomb Raider King, there are no good guys.
