Has the Blue Gender movie been licensed

I was wondering if anyones if the Blue Gender movie has been licensed or is going to be released anytime soon. Along with Blue Gender does anyone know if the Inu Yasha movies are coming out soon?

As of now, all indications point to "no", AS hasn't obtained the broadcast license for the Blue Gender movie. In fact, I'm not even sure if the dub of the movie has been completed.

However, given that Blue Gender TV is on AS currently, I would be surprised if it doesn't air eventually. In the meantime, just sit back and chill.. it'll show up soon enough.. and if it's not fast enough you could always just pick up the R2 DVD from amazon.co.jp :)

The Blue Gender Movie has a scheduled release date of July 20, 2004. Smile

Does the movie take place after the show? Or is it just a re-telling? I'd really like to know what really happnens in the end.
