Yeah, I knew that that since Season 3 would be a full 25 episode that nearly everything that would come after the All Might vs All For One battle would be seen as several steps down in intensity minus Midoriya vs Bakugo round 2.
The License Exam arc mainly is about setting the stage for the next few arcs so the payoff involving the new characters introduced in the last two episodes of the season won't be coming for another six months at the very least. Still it will be very much worth it.

Two things this cour made me do the white guy blinking meme face: Nobuhiko Okamoto’s performance as small-mouth Bakugo before the fight started and Aizawa’s ponytail. I rewound the scene with him and All Might just to bask in its glory again. I could watch him just grade term papers for 20 minutes.
