Showing only a cropped section of Alita's face works a small wonder for the promotional poster. The entire view thereof—enlarged eyes and all—might not have quite the intended effect on potential viewers...

for the ANN thumbnail at first I thought he was picking his nose, then it looks like he's tapping his nose in a knowing manner

the poster isn't bad...the eyes look normal

I want to like this. I want to hope they won't mess this up so much. But I'm still stinging from how they ruined Ghost In The Shell completely. So when the cast gets announced early, and there's a role for one of the fat guys that used to do teenage comedies but sometimes does voice work for CGI characters.... and we find out Laugho, the comic relief spin thief robot is making an appearance, voiced by Chet Thundergut, who played Barfy in Gosh Those Teenagers Are Summer Whatever part 9, I won't be surprised.

What "they" are you referring to? Is there any person that worked on both movies?

This might be 1 of 20th Century Fox's last blockbusters before Disney acquires most of the Fox Empire, of which I am against. Disney owns too much.

I've noticed in the newer designs for Alita in the trailers, her nose and mouth resemble the actress's more. It's a welcome improvement!
