I'm still bummed that AXZ didn't get simulcast. I'm guessing song rights probably ended up being an issue, but they managed to get that sorted out for previous seasons somehow. Here's hoping they manage to do so for this and AXZ by the time it airs.

News from 2031: "Symphogear season 14 is confirmed."  The characters will always be 16 even though they been through many years worth of plot material.

I am curious about that as well. They announced season 4 and 5 together. If XV picks up and carries major points that AXZ raised then it could lead to a big final season. And yet...it is still profitable. They sell well in terms of BDs, character CDs, and they have concerts.
It would be interesting if they did try to transition to a new cast beyond this. But I guess we'll have to wait and see for the end of XV. Regardless I'm hoping this season is one of the best for the series. If it is the end they'll have gotten over 60 episodes by the end of this season.

With how AXZ teased at the end how that Hibiki and Miku could really, REALLY be important in the grand scheme of things, it does feel XV could be heading towards a conclusion at least with this cast (please let them kiss!!!) I wouldn't mind it; how much more character development and conflicts can they conjure up at this point?
