Somebody really needs to release these movies on US BD. They are definitely my favorite Japanese films. There's just something about the tone of Kaiji that fits really well with Tatsuya Fujiwara's insane over-acting.
Also, I know this is to be expected when it comes to Japanese actors, but it's been like 20 years since Fujiwara played 14/15-year-old (can't remember which) Shuya Nanahara and somehow he still doesn't look any older. |
