I have a feeling this will last well into late 2022. Say goodbye to the Summer and Winter Olympics in Tokyo and Beijing in particular. Well have to wait until they return to Europe in 2024.

Even the most pessimistic estimates don’t go that far. There are some promising treatments and therapies, as well as a few positive leads for vaccines. Granted, I wouldn’t expect to see definitive results till the end of the year, but it’s not going to keep us locked in our homes till 2022.

Interesting since they are quite low on both infection rate and death rate compared to other countries. They also have one of the lowest testing rates by population of any country, so they really need to ramp up testing.
