Speaking from past experience, Akira on the big screen is a treat, and I'm wondering how it would look in IMAX. However, there's no way I'm going to a movie theater anytime soon.

Even if I didn’t have some concerns about being in a movie theater, I don’t like Akira enough to make the 7-hour drive (or 1-hour flight) to the closest screening.

If only the local drive-in had an IMAX screen. ;p
