Is this good or bad for Sand Land? I'd like to see more of Toriyama's one shots getting adapted, but I'm not sure if this ranking placement works for or against that Confused

It's certainly not great, the lifetime gross is 1 billion yen and it's hard to say if the movie will even make above 500 million yen.
Producers need to start realize that in this day and age Toriyama's name alone won't carry the marketing.

I think they would’ve been aware of that with Blue Dragon largely being forgotten.
